3M Company Wins the Energy Star Award

According to Energy Star:

“3M recognizes energy efficiency as a key element in corporate responsibility while maintaining a competitive advantage. 3M is receiving ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence recognition for its ongoing improvements in energy performance and sustainability efforts.”

Energy Star is a program created from the combined efforts of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. It works toward helping people save money as well as protecting the environment by encouraging energy efficiency in products and practices.
