Once the film is installed by a highly trained window film technician, 3M, the manufacturer, backs the film with a generous warranty covering both materials and labor. The warranty period varies depending on whether it is a residential or commercial application. If you have the 3M Window Film installed on your home, the warranty lasts for as long as you are the owner of the house. 3M backs commercial window film installations for ten to fifteen years, depending on the type of film selected.
